What TransferRank is trying to do
TransferRank is a football transfer intelligence product built around evidence, source history, contextual fit, and sharper editorial judgement.
TransferRank currently runs as a modern web product with a React frontend, a FastAPI backend, Supabase data infrastructure, Clerk authentication, Vercel frontend delivery, and Railway backend hosting.
The premise
Transfer reporting is noisy. Reliable stories, agent-driven chatter, generic roundups, recycled rumours, and late-window chaos all get flattened into the same feed on most sites. TransferRank exists to separate those signals and present them clearly.
What makes it different
The product combines source credibility, squad fit, transfer value, momentum, and likelihood into a single scoring system, then pairs that with editorial analysis and transparent source context so users can judge a story properly.
- Source-history scoring instead of flat rumour aggregation.
- Club, player, and market context rather than headline-only transfer chatter.
- Community submission flows so missing articles and social posts can enter the review pipeline.
- AI-assisted editorial systems used as support tooling rather than as a claim of certainty.
Who it is for
It is built for obsessive football fans, transfer-window readers, analysts, operators, and anyone who wants a clearer view of what is real, what is moving, and what is probably noise.
